Confessional
Unfortunately, this game is taking a very slow start for me. I don't know why, but the social aspect of this game has been such a strain for me. It's been exhausting and annoying. I don't know why it is so hard for some of these people to simply respond to a message, but apparently that is a daunting challenge for some of these people.
Last round, I didn't really carry if I won immunity or not. It didn't really matter to me. Frankly, that stance still stands simply because of all the remaining inactives in this game. I think a high post count and a message in someone's inbox is just as good as an immunity necklace. However, I feel like I need to get my name out there soon and establish myself as a strong player. I'm not cool with falling into the background, so I'm about to have to step up my game a little bit.
I've officially sent a message this round to everyone in the game who I deemed as a relevant with the exception of Eliza. I tried messaging her last round with no luck. So, the ball is in her court now. She can talk to me if she'd like to. Right now, I'm thinking Twila might be a potential prospect. I'd really like to take her under my wing and ruffle a few feathers. I don't want to play a dirty game, but I don't want to become just another player in the game either. I think a couple of stray votes from Twila and myself could really cause a few people to second guess things and perhaps even take matters into their own hands. But we'd have to target the right person. We'll see. That may be a strategy that needs to be enacted later on in the game.
I'm really anxious to see which players actually get back to my messages. I'm hoping several. If not, I may be going hard for that immunity next round for a totally different reason.
So far, I'm really enjoying the game, and I can't wait to see what happens next. I'll write some more as more goes down.
